Welcome to my courses for new authors! My name is Eva Pohler, and I'm an award-winning and USA Today bestselling author of over forty-five novels in multiple genres. I've been a writing professor for over three decades, and I'm a professional editor. In more recent years, I've taught creative writing and entrepreneurial strategies for creatives as an adjunct professor at Trinity University, where I've helped university students turn their passions into careers.
Drawing on my Ph.D. work on "Narrative Strategies," my three decades of teaching, and my fifteen years of writing, publishing, and promoting my work, I've created a series of courses to help other writers. The second course, "From Manuscript to Marketplace: Eight Milestones to Publishing," takes the guesswork out of publishing. This course guides you through every stage of the process, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence. You’ll learn the pros and cons of traditional publishing versus self-publishing, how to query agents and prepare submissions, and what contracts really mean for your career.
